An evening gala award presentation and live event hosted at the House of Blues in December 2021. Matter Creative Services provided full service and large scale multicamera production on site, broadcasting it to viewers at home via a live stream for the third consecutive year. The program was heavy in pre-production elements, including custom illustrations, animations, remote captured acceptance speeches and in-studio presenter elements shot in a set modeled after a super hero lair. All these elements were interwoven into the celebration, being shown on a wall sized theatrical screen, and seamlessly woven into a live experience complete with red carpet reporting, aerialists, and a live audience. In the venue, custom mannequins, and set pieces dotted the room and printed billboards wrapped the stage while gobos illuminated the floors. The Matter team integrated their live stream gear with the onsite audio-video team and brought the spirit of the celebration to the audience at home, while being virtually invisible in the room.
